Why I run

Apart from the lure of a Tiffany & Co. finisher necklace I am running the Nike Women's Marathon for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. I am raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives such as that of my Grandpa in 2000.

Every 4 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer and every 10 minutes someone dies from a blood cancer. I am raising money for a cure for this disease and to fight back against cancer. This summer as I run more than 400 miles in training, I will try to endure the fatigue and aches and pains with gratitude for my health. I run because I can.

Please support me and give as much as you can - you can donate on my personal fundraising page here: Lets Fight Cancer!
